You can delete your Walk4Faith account and all of its data at any time, whether you signed up with email, Facebook or Apple. It takes less than a minute.
Option 1: Delete It in the App
This works in the iPhone and Android apps and on the web at app.walk4faith.com.
Open Walk4Faith and sign in.
Tap Profile at the bottom of the screen.
Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete My Account.
Tap Delete to confirm.
Your account is deleted right away and you are signed out.
Option 2: Ask Us by Email
If you can’t sign in, or would rather we do it for you, email hello@walk4faith.com from the email address on your account with the subject “Delete my Walk4Faith account.” If you signed in with Facebook or Apple, use the email address connected to that account and tell us which one you used.
We’ll delete your account within 30 days, usually much sooner, and reply to let you know it’s done. To protect your account, we may ask you to confirm the request.
What Gets Deleted
Your account, email address, display name and avatar
Your points, streaks, badges and leaderboard history
Your journal entries
Your prayer requests and prayer history
Your church check-ins
Your reward orders (any order not yet delivered is cancelled)
Any information we received from Facebook or Apple when you signed in
Deletion is permanent and can’t be undone. Points can’t be transferred or restored after your account is deleted.
What We May Keep
If you asked us to add your church, the church stays listed in the app for other members, but it is no longer linked to you. Our staff activity log may keep a short note of actions Walk4Faith staff took on your account, such as delivering a reward, for security and record-keeping. It doesn’t include your journal, prayers or check-ins. Copies of your data in our secure backups are erased automatically within 30 days.
Disconnect Facebook or Apple (Optional)
Deleting your Walk4Faith account removes your data from Walk4Faith. If you also want to remove Walk4Faith from your Facebook or Apple account:
Facebook: go to Settings & privacy › Settings, search for Apps and websites, find Walk4Faith and choose Remove.
Apple: on your iPhone, go to Settings › [your name] › Sign-In & Security › Sign in with Apple (or sign in at account.apple.com), choose Walk4Faith and stop using Sign in with Apple for it.
Removing the app in Facebook or Apple on its own does not delete your Walk4Faith data. Use Option 1 or 2 above for that.
